Campaigns
Email a group of people with one approval, shared send rules and automatic pausing when something needs you.
What is a campaign?
A campaign is a set of leads, one reviewed email per lead, and the rules for sending them: a daily send window in your local time, a daily limit, and optional follow-ups. You approve the exact version once; the app then sends in batches inside those rules.
User flow
- Ask for itTell the assistant, for example: “Build a campaign from my uncontacted prospects” or “email Ada and Bo as a campaign tomorrow 10 AM”.
- Emails are writtenThe assistant researches if asked, writes one email per lead from verified facts and your offer, and checks each one.
- Approval cardThe campaign card shows every lead and email, the rules, and anything blocking approval (blanks, opted-out leads, unsupported claims). Edit emails or rules right there.
- ApprovePick an approval mode and approve this exact version.
- Confirm the first sendSend now or at a time you choose. The first send always needs this confirmation.
- BatchesEmails go out inside the window, up to the daily limit. Follow-ups go out the same way when they're due.
- DoneWhen every lead is sent, replied, opted out or out of follow-ups, the campaign completes.
Statuses
| Draft | Being put together. Nothing approved. |
| Waiting for your approval | Ready for you to review on its card. |
| Approved | Approved, but the first send isn't confirmed yet. |
| Sending | Active: batches go out inside the window and limit. |
| Paused | Stopped until you resume it. The reason is shown on the card. |
| Complete | Nothing left to send. |
Approval and changes
Approval is tied to a fingerprint of exactly what will be sent: recipients, every email, and the sending rules. Any change after approval, by you or the assistant, breaks it and the campaign needs approving again.
Approval modes
| Ask every time | You confirm every batch before it sends. |
| Bypass permissions | After the first confirmed send, later batches go out on their own. Only available when Settings allows it; turning it off there switches running campaigns back to Ask every time immediately. |
Automatic pausing
A reply, an opt-out, a bounce, an unexpected sending error or a daily-limit breach pauses the campaign. You see why, and resume when ready.
Rules and limits
| Send window | Start and end time in your local time zone. |
| Daily limit | 1–200 emails per day. |
| Follow-ups | 0–3 per lead, 1–30 days apart, with one follow-up message for the campaign. |
New campaigns start from the defaults in Settings → Campaign agent. The Campaigns page lists all of them with filters by status, approval mode and results; open one to act on it.
Watching the assistant edit
Ask the assistant on the Campaigns page to change a campaign (rename it, move the send window, change the offer or a lead's email) and the campaign opens while its cursor types the change into the card. It's already saved by then; the cursor just shows what changed. With reduced motion turned on, the new values appear without the animation.
Deleting a campaign
Open the campaign on the Campaigns page and choose Delete campaign. Nothing more is sent from it, including an active campaign mid-run. Emails it already sent and their replies stay in Sent and Replies. Its unsent drafts move to Drafts, or tick the box to delete them too. Deleting waits if an email is being sent at that moment. It can't be undone.
